I have an 1987 250x and was wondering what weight oil is reccomened for this quad I have beening runin straight 30 weight but really would like to know what the book
calls for.

from what i've seen lately around the forums..depending on where you live..< as in temp wise >..any 10w-30..or 10w-40 will work..AS LONG AS IT'S MADE FOR ATV'S !...make sure it's made for atv's..as it makes a lot of difference on the wet clutch's...i just learned this not long ago from here..soo..it's good advice to get oil that is made for wet clutches.

Yep honda GN4 or a amsoil atv oil for wet clutches that is 10W30.You can run 10W40 in the summer if you want.It's just a bit thicker.
