It was years ago but, me and a buddy did his on his 250x. We had one hell of a time getting the old bearings out. I can hardly remember any details but, we ended up taking I believe the receiver carrier to our workplace and having a millwright put it on a lathe to get the job done.
if i was you i would buy a aftermarket one there better and last longer save time when we changed mine before i got a aftermarket one the old bearing was a pain to get the old bearings out and u can mess the carrier up trying to get them out
