We have 7 of these bikes 2001 thru 2007. The 2001 and the 2007 will stall or sputter to a stop and then stall if you give it gas AFTER you hit a large bump raising the front end or hit the beginning of a sandpit wall again lifting the front end up,,, this usually in 3rd gear cranking. The other 5 bikes 2002-2005 dont do this at all but these two do it on the same bump/wall about 20% of the time. They restart but give gas they stall so we used to wait in idle 30-60 seconds and then it would go again and not stall. Then we discovered if we restaarted in full choke we could get going again sooner than just idling. We keep the air filters clean. We are adults and dont beat them. Well maintained, etc. We have tried draining the carbs, no crap comes out. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Draining the carb does not always get all the garbage out of the carb. The carb needs to be removed and taken apart and all the jets cleaned. Check your vent hose on the gas tank to make sure its not blocked. Welcome to the forms.

Agree with everybody above. Take the carb off and take your time and clean it thoroughly. In my opinion, there is no short cuts to cleaning a carb. If you don't do it thorough the first time, you will just end up taking it back off and redoing it again. Carbs can be a pain sometimes.
