:excl: does anyone know if you can take the reverse mechanism from a trx250ex 06 and put it on the 250ex 03 (the 03 has the lever reverse where you push down the botton and pull the handle in) if so can you post a installation guide thanks

I don't have an installation guide, but I would say it can be done. The reverse lever on the engines should be the same and it just has a cable that pulls it, so the only difference would be at the other end of the cable, the mechanism that pulls the cable, whether it be the knob that turns to pull it or the lever that pulls it.

I think the 06 and up were electronically activated.? I haven't look at a manual but the set-up is simular to the 06 and up 400ex and 07 and up 300EX

Oh, I didn't know that. If that's the case, it probably wouldn't work then.

The parts microfiche for the '06 250EX shows a cable and knob.

thanks guys i think ill try to figure it out because its just like helmut said there is just the cable and the other end is different.. i dont know if its the 06 i think i meant the 05 (whatever has the knob) anyway thanks EDIT: oh after looking at the picture again i guess it was the 06 thanks.
