[RNHD2008]

I have a 2004 250 TRX. It will start and run great for about 5 minutes or so, then it will idle only. It will not take any accelerator at all, just dies. It will start right back up, but idle only. I have cleaned the carb. checked the timing due to it will back fire through the exhaust every now and then, it's all good. Any suggestions??????

Well if it will idle, but not take gas and you have cleaned your carb, have you checked to make sure the choke isn't stuck on? IF it dies after a bit of idle, sounds like a choke issue to me.
