Hey everyone recently dragged out my 05 recon and i need to know what the biggest tire you can put on without modifications or rubbing the floorboards any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone recently dragged out my 05 recon and i need to know what the biggest tire you can put on without modifications or rubbing the floorboards any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard. We have 24" rears (stock off a Rancher) and we do get rubbing once you load the rear suspension down some. On the front we have 25's and just BARELY clear. Made the steering a tad more difficult too. If I were picking ideal tires for a Recon it would be 23's in the rear and 24's in the front. Just my $0.02.

If you watch craigslist, you will find pull offs (Rancher or Foreman tires/wheels) for a great price.
