1987 Honda TRX 250. I am trying to remove the carb but am unable to remove the choke valve. My manual says to "Unscrew the nut securing the choke valve to the carburetor body and remove the choke valve." I am unable to pull the choke valve out of the carb. What is still holding the valve in the body? Any ideas that might help will be greatly appreciated. The atv has sat for about 3-4 years with gas in it and I need to boil it out. Thanks, Tom/iDAHO

The choke valve is seized in the carb body. I would spray it with some penetrating oil and let it sit overnight and then try to remove it. Be very careful when you try to pull it out, it will break easily where the cable hooks to it.
