I recently purchased a new Rancher 420 and noticed the display had everything in kilometers. I didn't even think of checking on this when purchasing. I've read that this may be a Canadian model. If so why would a dealer in the US sell one and does anybody else know of any other differences in the machine other than the display?

You can change the display to read either km or mph

I do remember reading how to change it from km to mph in the owners manual, and yea I forgot that only the canadian bikes have a pull start apparently.

Thanks guys for responding. TBRider was correct, you can toggle between mph and km by holding the mode button on the trip display. It’s not a Canadian model but I kind of hoping it was because I would like a pull start option.
You can only ride that model in Canada . . . :smile
