Hello Folks, Canadian from Nunavut reporting in.

I purchased a new 2017 Rincon last September and it's been an excellent rig for getting me around the Tundra and I've kept it in very good shape.

Recently it's been giving me an issue with the transmission. It just won't go into gear beyond first. If I leave it in automatic it just revs very high. If I switch to manual, the gears will change on the display, but it won't actually switch out of first gear. There doesn't seem to be an error code or anything on the display, it just stays in "D" or "1-2-3". This is a hit-or-miss problem; sometimes it runs great with no problems and other times it does this.

I've been told the cold can do this however I've been letting it warm-up before running it and it's only -2 Celsius so that shouldn't be affecting it (I ran it much colder last winter).

It's only got about 1200 km on it and I feel like this is way too early for a transmission issue, especially considering how much I've babied it. Any idea what this issue could be? I recently changed the oil/filter but that's the only work that's been done on it.

Thanks for the help in advance!

I just changed the oil on one tonight, about that amount. Buddy of mine showed that has had one for years. He said in the colder weather you have to let them warm up or the trans wont do anything. Oil has to be some certain temp/. Any chance its not warmed up enough even tho you let it run?
