Folks,
My local dealer has a new 2017 Rancher 4x4, auto transmission, power steering, ES, for $6694. I priced the same unit at another local dealer and it was around $7200.

Question - Is the $6694 a good price?

I would say yes, that is a good price. But that is not a GREAT price. Here in AZ I have seen them from time to time (TRX420FA2) the very model you are looking at, for around the $6000 mark, which puts you out the door for around $7500. I bought the exact quad you are looking at in 2016 brand new from Western Honda in Scottsdale, AZ for about $5800, which was exactly $7500 out the door. At this very moment, it looks like RideNow Powersports in AZ is selling the same quad for about the same price.

MSRP on that ATV now is $7599.. So depending on how their fees work out in the the end... that's a pretty decent price.. You are welcome to PM me if you have any specific questions...

What someone paid in the past is somewhat irrelevant... as Honda offers different rebates and promotions from month to month.. and this can affect the price by hundreds of $$$.. And nobody is getting rich off of ATVs... so the prices are all very competitive... When you are shopping different dealers.. make sure that you ask about the OTD (Out The Door) price... because one dealer will list a price and may not have a bunch of extra fees.. and another dealer will list a stupid low price and add a bunch of inflated fees and may end up costing more than the 1st dealer. I've also heard people say it's $7000 OTD + taxes/fees... the OTD price should be the FINAL price that you would pay w/ nothing additional. And tax laws can vary from state to state... and many have wised up that people are purchasing out of state to avoid taxes.. and have laws in place to counteract this practice and heavy fines if you do...
