2017 Rancher 420 ES Tires Size

I am looking to gain some more ground clearance and the easiest way is through tires. I know i seen another post on here where someone was asking what the biggest mud tire he could run and so on, but i am looking to run a good all around trail tire and i guess my worry is going so large it strains the machine or breaks things. I am thinking a 27 would be big enough to give me the ground clearance i want but would like some input from others.

Two more things too consider are 1) twist the ring on each shock for full spring tension, this may give you an inch or more at times. 2) .5 of air pressure is equal to about a half inch from 3 to 3.5 psi. maybe three fourths of an inch 3 to 4 psi. Much less improvement above 4.5 or 5 psi.
