Hi, rather than change diff's etc i'm thinking about putting some slightly larger tires on my 2016 Rubicon to give it a little more top end and not make the engine work as hard, it's got the DCT gearbox and IRS, i've also fitted an HMF exhaust and optimizer.
What would you recommend to be a safe size so not to lose to much power nor cause any long term damage? I'm currently running 25/10/12 & 25/8/12.
Thanks
Mark

27's MAX and even then your going to feel some power loss
and not sure you will gain any top end speed if thats what your looking for by changing gearing thru tires
the taller heavier tires will suck up the power and that will result in the overall same like speeds if not slower?

Mrbb covered it all really.. 27’s max and not overly aggressive either, mudlites, bearclaws or something similar would be ideal in that size.
The only way to run large tyres is to install a gear reduction, that goes without saying that you’ll lose your top end.
