Ok so I bought a 2016 from a guy for a good deal, top end is new but bottom end is knocking. Already took it apart and I'm mechanically inclined more on automotive side though. What I need to know is what do I need to look for as in bad parts. Crank? Bike started up fine and ran good also. No smoking. Give me some info because I’m looking into fixing and riding! I have pictures and video so let me know if that is needed

Most likely sunk. Dirt left in the bottom cases wiped out the rings and some one did a quick fix to get it going. It also could have been sunk and liquid locked, bending the rod trying to get it running. Best to tear into it, clean and inspect everything. I'm sure there is a crankshaft/rod check inspection just by taking the head off, but that won't fix it

Most likely going to need a new crankshaft, or have your old one rebuilt. Have to split the cases, but you are most of the way there already. Really not that bad a job to do. When you take the cases apart lay the flywheel side down and take the clutch side off, the transmission will stay in the flywheel side case
