Hi i have a Honda rancher coolant problem on the coolant display it reads LO and the coolant symbol isntead of how hi or lo my coolant is I was told my sensor is bad that reads the level in my reservoir but there isn’t a senso on my reservoir where is that sensor? If could get some help maybe tell me where it’s at would be greatly appreciated. PS my coolant isn’t so I don’t know why it says that on the display.

Thanks for asking. The manual isn’t loaded on this site—I reviewed the 2014 manual and the 2016 parts breakdown—couldn’t find anything on sensor. I don’t know if it has one

Are you sure what you looking at on the cluster is coolant level? Ive never heard of anything ever having a coolant level display or sensor.

Could you post a picture of what your referring too?

It's the temp sensor, and not a coolant level sensor...

Wayne this is what I’m talking about my quad use to say the coolant level on the display screen when I scrolled through the cluster and now it says this? And I was told it was the low coolant sensor on the reservoir but there isn’t a sensor on the reservoir and it can’t be the other sensor on the block because it’s not getting hot it just won’t read the level on the display.

The level you used to see wasnt the coolant level your fuel level is normally displayed there. Without seeing the bike or being able to pull up the manual its hard for me to tell but my guess would be that LO means low coolant temp, not level.

There is no coolant level sensor on your bike, it's an engine temp sensor, I've personally never looked for it's actual location and right now it's 20 below, have a look in the service manual, you should be able to find it from there.

Wayne on my quad the fuel level is the first thing that comes on the screen when I turn it on so I know it’s the coolant level screen!
What I’m trying to say is there is no such thing as a coolant level screen on your bike or any other bike, car, truck, etc.
