The left rear wheel bearing went out on my brother in laws 420 rancher. Can I unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the left housing, rear differential and part of the frame and twist the housing ninety degrees left or righ to slide the housing off or is it an easier way to remove the part of the bearing that is in the housing. I removed the seal, inner part of the bearing that is on the axle and ball bearing bu can’t seem to get to the race of the bearing to remove it. It a 420fm1g. Thanks,
Stephen

remove the 4 bolts from the rear left axle tube that attaches the tube to the rear diff, then slide the axle tube off to the left. pay attention to any spacer washer shim that could be on the end of the axle inside the left rear tube ?, if there is one ?, you must put it back on the axle after you replace the bearing and seal !. it should stay on there when you remove the axle tubbing ?, but if it falls off ?, make sure you install it back on the axle with the flat side facing out when you put it back on the axle.

Thank you. Got the old race out and new bearing installed. It was one of the easiest bearings I have ever replaced, I’m use to working on farm equipment. Hopefully that one will last for another 7000+ miles.
