I have a 2014 rancher 420 that I just bought yesterday, clutches were shot and bottom end was knocking but it ran and drove the clutches just slipped pretty bad,had a 2012 rancher 420 that was totaled sitting around and decided to pull the engine, everything was the exact same except the stator connector,so I cut and spliced the connector from the old engine and now I have no ground pulse to the injector and all I hear is a slight beep sound when trying to switch gears, any ideas? Would the stator wiring even have anything to do with the ground pulse or switching gears?

Is this a FE or TE?
Sorry, can't answer your specific question because mine is a manual shift. I hope someone else can help.
Are you seeing any blink code on the display?? With a wiring issue I would think you would see one, in the gear position indicator.
There is a service manual for your Rancher on this forum.
Sorry I could not be of more help.
