Hey guys new to the forum but I have a 14 Honda foreman that sat up for around a year after I did some deep water riding, now it will not start, no indicator lights nothing, checked all fuses, checked battery, is there something else I need to check? Also tested ground on motor and wiring harness all seems fine, just no power to display or anything, a schematic or how the wiring is ran would help out or if someone has a idea of which direction I need to go in that wouldn't be great!

welcome to the forums. unless the battery is no good ?, I will say your missing a blown fuse ?, loose battery cable maybe ?, bad ignition switch ?. grab a 12 volt test light, start tracing power from battery is what I would do. AND STAY OUT OF THE LAKES !!..they are not boats !!..lol. and did you check your oil for any signs of water ??, if there is ?, I hope your stator and pick up coil is good ?..lol. engines love to rust ?, spec after sitting for that long ?, yeah..not good. anyway, start with tracing power from battery.

Sounds like a mess lol. How deep of water where you in? If you were over the bars then everything would be suspect to water intrusion.

On top what shade said, also start unplugging the connectors one by one and look for any corrosion. There are relays near the PCM check them too.

I did not even think of the connectors corroding over after sitting for that long ?..great call !.

Check battery first.

Check fuses.

Run a jumper wire from battery + to coil red/black wire. That will bypass the bank angle sensor and fuel injection relay.

Report back.

I had a Rancher that did the same and the fuel injection relay wasn't making a good connection.

Thanks for all the help guys I'll be sure to check it out as soon as I get home, it just seems to be there is no fire to the pcm, my headlights work fine I can turn them off or on when the key is on the on position just everything else is dead, I did begin to clean and grease all my connectors, i have a fairly good sense of automotive knowledge I also replaced the battery. And cleaned my fuse block and replaced all fuses with new ones, water never got past my handle bars or my racks, someone maybe have a diagram?

You may be right but I didn't see any signs of water intrusion in any connector on the pcm, if I could find out where the power goes from the battery, and what directs power to everything I may find the culprit but I won't rule out a pcm

power goes to the fuse block. one some models ?, there is an extra '' main '' fuse by itself, see if you have one ?, it looks like a box wrench !, lol, if you have one ?, it's in a black box, the lid snaps on it, there is a spare fuse in the lid. this fuse uses two tiny screws to hold it together in the box.

Finally got my hands on a diagram! I'll post back what I find! Hopefully it's something small and not a pcm! Anything else I need to check? I know for sure I am doing to clean and grease all connectors!

As someone who has TWICE replaced the ECU, only to find out that the ECU was not the culprit, check EVERYTHING twice before you shell out $$$ on a part that rarely goes bad.

Do any of your fuses have power on either side?
