I went to start my 2013 Honda Foreman the other day only to hear a single click when I hit the start button. I determined the starter was bad so I ordered and replaced the starter. Now when I turn the key on I have no power to the switch or instrument panel. All of this worked before I replaced the starter. What could have happened? I have 12.7 volts on the battery, I checked the 3 fuses in the fuse box and all are good. The only thing electrical that I disconnected was the wire from the starter. Is there any other fuses that may have somehow blown?

Thanks,

shadetree, the starter has only one wire connected to the front of it. Its the only wire I disconnected and reconnected to the new starter
any chance your battery cables are not on the starter solenoid tight from battery ?. loose ground battery cable to ground ?. study the pic I linked, check it all from battery to starter and engine ground.

Shadetree, you nailed it. I guess when I removed the bolts on the old starter I didn't notice the ground wire that was attached by one of the bolts. After looking at your diagram I went back and noticed the wire hanging down under the bike that I didn't notice before. I connected the ground wire and everything worked just fine. Thank you so much for your help. This issue has been driving me nuts for days.
