2011 trx420fm stalling after 10 minutes

Alright i have a 2011 trx420fm. It rides great for the first 10-15 minutes then suddenly sputters and dies. Its hard to start after and usually have to wait about 5 minutes before it will finally fire. Ive checked air filter and fuel pump and filter. Is there anything im missing? Also i noticed tonite that after it stalls i turn the key on and there is a slight ticking sound near the rear of the motor.

I'm not familiar with your model. Does it have a fuel tank vent on it that could have gotten plugged up? Does it have a Bank Angle Sensor on the motor? Either of those could be suspects if your bike has them.

If you found a loose positive cable maybe there are others loose? Check grounds on the frame and the motor. If it gets ridden in water check for moisture in all the connectors in the wiring harness. Other than those basics I don't have any help... I would probably study the service manual and start testing things... fuel pressure, ignition coil, wherever the FSM led me.
