2010 rancher combination meter

I have a 2010 rancher 2WD with no combination meter (speedometer) would like to add a Honda oem gauge to it. Been told I need gauge, 21 pin harness bracket, housing. Since mine only has warning lights will I be able to do this upgrade or will i need to add any sensors (rear VS sensor). Have looked at the Vapor kit but looks like it's for 4WD quads.
