Any boring less than .040 really isn't doing much but definitely switch to a high compression piston 10:1 or 11:1 should work just fine, also I would look into a different carb set-up like a flatside, put on a good exhaust system HMF, FMF, Curtis Sparks, Two Brothers Racing are just a few top brands. Don't forget the air filter, Uni or K&N. if you change out the cam I wouldn't go any larger than a stage 1 unless you have the money to blow. I would most definitely invest in a new timing chain and timing chain guide your already there save yourself the headache later. replace the clutches too. the 200s is an automatic or sportclutch the 200X has a clutch you do know that right?? Good luck post some pics up let's see what your working on.

from 79-85 the 200X carried the same camshft as the 185s 79-85 , so I can only assume the 200S carries the same as well.... check Web Cam Inc. - Performance and Racing Camshafts if you have any questions just give them a call. Your looking around 200 bucks for that camshaft. Wiseco piston for a 1985 200S ...Part Number-4156M06700 $154.92 67.00mm 2.00mm Compression Ratio - Actual: 10.25:1
