i have a 2009 trx680 at idle it runs perfect. the problem im having is when you push the gas passed a 1/4 throttle it acts like the rev limiter kicks in. has hardly any power and 15 mph is all i can get out of it.please if someone could give me something to check i would greatly appreciate it.

Check the plug is it super sooty?

Brake microswitch maybe?

You sure both brake levers are all the way forward? There are switches on the brake levers that will make it do that if the switches aren't engaged.
