Hey guys. I'm having problems with my 09 420es shifting above 2nd gear. I've replaced my angle sensor, electric shift motor itself (teeth where destroyed so I had to replace it anyway), replaced the grease with new stuff and put new reduction gears in because some gears where chipped. Still no luck. I will add that the bike is showing a 0 for the speed no matter how fast I'm going. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. Anybody know what's going on? Thanks

The reduction gear bearings may be going bad.
Try the manual shift tool. It should require moderate pressure to shift gears. If it is hard (don't force it), remove the reduction gears and try the manual shift tool again.
