the boot closest to the disk on my rear driveshaft needs replacement what are the steps in removing my driveshaft properly? it's the shaft that goes from the tranny to the rear diff.
guessing your speaking of the output shaft drive shaft boot..unbolt your motor..slide is far enough forward to get the output shaft out of the u-joint..when you do this..you should have enough room to remove the rubber u-joint boot.

The 680 Rincon has IRS, it would probably be easier to unbolt the rear diff and move it back to get the driveshaft out. You can probably leave the axles in and just slide the diff backwards.
