Hey guys I have a 2008honda rancher 420 with the hand shift and when I'm riding on open land and I'm in 3rd gear and try to shift into 4th it won't shift just makes a loud clang noise but when I click it 3 or for times to get it into 4th gear it will what do u guys think

from this post and ya other thred sound like water is in your elec check you wireing and delectic grees you wire plugs im shur someone eles on here can xplan better ..
