on my honda rancher 420 it has foot shift and when i shift its kind of hard to shift if i hold the lever all the way down it still drives and dose not rev is my clutch out of adjustment if so is it pretty easy to do?:grin

Yes, a clutch adjustment is easy to do. Just follow the shop manual guidance. My 2006 Foreman is not exactly easy to shift and I would not try it wearing flip-flops but in regular shoes, I consider it easy to shift.

What do you mean by "kind of hard to shift"? How many miles or hours on the bike? Original clutches?

its never been adjusted since i bought it 3+ years ago

Pull the lever up and see if it still moves. I have had 3 420's and each of them had the clutch plates stick. It is so bad that I use a bungee cord to pull the lever up when stored in my garage. This guarantees that they don't stick.

it revs when i pull it up instead of rolling my honda 250ex would rev if i pulled it up
