I am looking at buying a trx450r to desert race in. Anybody have problems with these bikes? Is it a good bike to race 100 miles?

The only things that I have heard about on the 450's is the starter clutch. You have to make sure if you are going to give it a little bit of throttle on start up, to do it before you start cranking the starter.
