Just because the plug is new, doesn't mean you're getting spark to it. Remove the sparkplug and plug it back into the boot and ground the threaded end to the cylinder head and crank the engine over and see if it sparks. You might want to place it against the cylinder head where it will lay by itself so you don't get shocked if it fires. You should have a good, bright blue spark jumping from the electrode to the grounding strap on the end of the plug.the sparkplug is new just a few weeks old
reminded me when my boss was holding the spark plug wire when i hit the start button..never knew he could jump that high !..lmao...and just so you know..i didn't know he was still holding the spark plug wire !..lol...but..we found out it was firing !.lmfao.Just because the plug is new, doesn't mean you're getting spark to it. kill switch in the run position ??..neutral light on ?..if soo..then try another spark plug..if that don't work..then you could have a bad stator, bad spark plug coil, bad c.d.i., or bad pulse generator.,,before you go replacing anything..check all your wires..connectors..everything..make sure nothing came unplugged.i tried and there is no spark
Yep, agree with Shadetree.kill switch in the run position ??..neutral light on ?..if soo..then try another spark plug..if that don't work..then you could have a bad stator, bad spark plug coil, bad c.d.i., or bad pulse generator.,,before you go replacing anything..check all your wires..connectors..everything..make sure nothing came unplugged.i tried and there is no spark
i put the old sparkplug on it and there was a spark and put it back in the atv and it did want to start but still takes a whilekill switch in the run position ??..neutral light on ?..if soo..then try another spark plug..if that don't work..then you could have a bad stator, bad spark plug coil, bad c.d.i., or bad pulse generator.,,before you go replacing anything..check all your wires..connectors..everything..make sure nothing came unplugged.i tried and there is no spark
sounds like a spark plug issue and carb issue..get a new plug..and clean out your carb.i put the old sparkplug on it and there was a spark and put it back in the atv and it did want to start but still takes a whilekill switch in the run position ??..neutral light on ?..if soo..then try another spark plug..if that don't work..then you could have a bad stator, bad spark plug coil, bad c.d.i., or bad pulse generator.,,before you go replacing anything..check all your wires..connectors..everything..make sure nothing came unplugged.i tried and there is no spark
the carb was cleaned a while back and i put seafoam in the tanksounds like a spark plug issue and carb issue..get a new plug..and clean out your carb.i put the old sparkplug on it and there was a spark and put it back in the atv and it did want to start but still takes a whilekill switch in the run position ??..neutral light on ?..if soo..then try another spark plug..if that don't work..then you could have a bad stator, bad spark plug coil, bad c.d.i., or bad pulse generator.,,before you go replacing anything..check all your wires..connectors..everything..make sure nothing came unplugged.
try a new plug first..if that don't help it start easier..then you need to redo the carb..something isn't right with it.the carb was cleaned a while back and i put seafoam in the tanksounds like a spark plug issue and carb issue..get a new plug..and clean out your carb.i put the old sparkplug on it and there was a spark and put it back in the atv and it did want to start but still takes a while
