Greetings all. I am hear to share a lesson learned. I purchased a 2007 Honda Rancher ES from an online auction. When I got it home I found that it had no brakes. Well I mean to say that the cable on the rear brake was broken so the back brakes may work but on the front there were no brake or calipers or master cylinder or brake handle. Yea I know I should have seen that in the pictures but I was actually bidding on a tractor and this was an impulse bid, is there such a thing? Well I am looking for a wrecked or blown motor one that I can pull all the parts I need but haven't found one yet. So here are my questions.

What model years are interchangeable with the 2007 Honda Rancher 4x4ES?
Where is the best place to buy parts?

Thanks for reading and I hope my mistake helps someone else from making the same.

.....to start with , I think you may have to back up a year and call it a 2006 , I think they discontinued the Rancher 350 in 2007 , if 350 is what you got , you didn't say , they went to the 420's , but you may be over seas or in Canada and they might have still been around

Can you post pics? Did they remove discs? The caliper Mount is made onto the spindle. Probably just needs master cyl, lines and calipers. Someone took them for a disc swap on an older bike I’m sure.

Sorry for the delay but here are some pictures of the hot mess I bought from the auction, lesson learned. The brake pictures are from the inside, did not have time to remove the wheel. It looks like the discs are there but I don't see calipers. Also there are no brake handles on the handlebars at all for front or rear brakes. I really think my best bet may be to try and find a wrecked one that I can cannibalize to make this one whole, just not sure what years are compatible.

If my memory serves me rightly I think parts are the same on yours upto 2012, I’m sure they went to the larger style frame after 2012. I have no idea from 2012 onwards (whenever the larger frame was introduced)

The only thing you're missing up front is the calipers.

07-13 will work.

They aren't too pricey used on ebay.

Rear brake cam is missing along with the brake cables (left handlebar and foot brake).

Better put an element on that air filter too.

In the front you're missing calipers brake cables master cylinder/lever.

You cant do much about the rear brakes because the hub is welded on so just go with front brakes.
Do get the brake lever for the rear brakes tho because you need it for the reverse cable.
Hopefully the rear diff is good cause if not you need an axle and hubs too to take care of that and then you could do rear brakes.

This will take care of the front brakes except for a little hardware you'll need but it looks like that bike is going to need a little more tlc than that tho lol
