I was riding my wheeler yesterday just bought it and it ran perfect a bunch of times and just went through all the gears and was down shifting it is the es and i stopped it in 2nd and it wouldn't shift down anymore but went up. So I turned it off manually pushed it back into neutral and it would go into all the gears up just not down so I had to
Manually do it again and now it stopped shifting at all. So I change the angle sensor nothing changed .... so I pulled the shift motor and then check the shift gear and it was missing teeth so I changed that now it's shifting again just not engaging into the gears I can hear it shift and it's giving off code 22 I'm pretty sure I checked all of the connections and it's still doing it I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO !!!

You'll probably need a copy of the service manual to fix your Rancher ES. You can get one HERE. Print it out if you plan on keeping the bike, you'll need it again someday soon.

I'm just guessing here, but you may have to take the shift motor back out and clean up those gears and housing and regrease them with fresh grease. Reinstall the gears according to the manual. You can plug the shift motor back in and test it while its out too. It should run free & easy and turn smoothly. The service manual lists all of the trouble codes and troubleshooting steps for each. Let us know how it goes... and welcome to the forums!
