the button is on the left handle bars, push red button down, pull brake lever, it also pulls lever under there, the cable goes to the rear of the engine, which operates another lever at the back, bottom side of the engine, this is made this way on most all Hondas.

that tool is for when the electric shift stops working ?, then you put that tool on the shaft where normally the foot shifter lever is on the left side where you rest your foot. look for a hex shaft sticking on the left side of the motor.

LOL I know how the reverse works on a Honda. I'm asking about the backup lever in the toolbox when your electric shift craps out.

the tool fits on the hex shaft, left side where your foot is.

Backup mave have been the wrong word lol. Yeah the hex shaft must really be hidden.

lol, yeah, I thought you meant the reverse operation ?..sorry, yes, that tool fits on the hex shaft, that's hidden behind the left side panel. if you look down on the left side, behind where your foot heal would be ?, you will see this hex shaft poking out the left bottom side of your motor .
