Hello, I have a 2006 Rincon and recently noticed Gas in the oil.

I noticed this since the tranny was slipping so I checked the oil and it definitely is thin with a strong gas odor.

The ATV engine seems to run smooth with no smoke otherwise, I have not yet had a chance to replace the oil(doing so this weekend) nor have I checked compression(again this weekend).

However I was wondering if anyone on here ever experienced this or have some insights on diagnosing the issue?

Thanks in advance, btw the Rincon has just over 7000miles on it.

Thank you, yeah I read that article. Unfortunately it was never updated with what the problem actually was.. I am hoping it is just the injector I am going to be doing an oil change this weekend and check the compression on it.. Hopefully the numbers are within range and it is just an injector that needs to be replaced.

Do you know if there is 1 or 2 injectors on these ATV's?

You can remove that fuel injector, and reattach it to your fuel rail with it removed from the cylinder head.

let it set there and see if its leaking out fuel at rest.

I would check this before I started ordering parts.
