Hey i was just wondering if anyone has had the rubicon 500 start knocking we adjusted the valves and everything and its been well maintained and everything regular oil changes Thanks

Do you know if the knocking is in the upper or lower part of the engine?

Sounds like its coming from lower i comes and goes its weird. When you accelerate its there but when u hold at the same rpm is seems to go away or at least get quieter

Could be a rod bearing by the way you describe it. but without tearing into it it's going to be hard to say.

It would be alot cheaper to fix it. Unless you just want a newer one.

Sounds like the rod bearing to me, too.
