I have a 2006 Honda Rancher AT 4X4 with only 800 miles on it. It does not get rode very much. I need help!! When you start it, it blows a fuse and won't do anything. If you turn the key on and change gears it is OK, only if you start it does it blow the fuse. The fuel lines and carberatur has been checked and cleaned. I went to the local Honda dealer, and they said they have never heard of it, and didn't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice?

Sounds like a dead short to ground. If its not ridden much check and see if a mouse chewed your wiring causing a short.

The ESP light was flashing 6 times now....We went back to the Honda dealer and they said it was the angle sensor. We replaced it and followed the directions they gave us on replacing it, but it still is not working......We need major help!!!!

wiring issue reply

I would be looking right by the fuseblock for corrosion/shor to ground. and batt terminals, has to be simple, look at all HOT ringterminals, one may have a rub, and would pull codes w/ intermittent ground
