My 2006 Honda rancher 400 at wont stay running, I’ve pulled the carb a thousand times, deep cleaned it, I’ve put a new spark plug in, new air filter, I’m about to change the oil. I have a huge headache trying to get this think to go. And sometimes it won’t even start. theres A little leak in the boot on the primer, and it can go fast as can be but when you let the throttle go it starts to bog down, back fire, and stall unless you floor it. Ive spent over 15 hours trying to get this thing to go. i need help here guys.

Sounds like it needs a rebuild kit and maybe replace any rubber piece with a hole in it. Sounds like a lean condition caused by vacuum leak.
Use the OEM parts finder at Rocky Mountain atv and Partzilla.
Rebuild the carb using an OEM gasket kit, float valve and starter enrichment valve. Shindy and K&L make good kits.
This carb uses a rubber piston valve which must not have any holes, an SE valve which has seal which is probably brittle, a carb heater which probably works and gaskets which are likely brittle.
If you don’t think you can fix it, take it to a good Honda shop—carb rebuild will cost at least $300.

Thanks for the feedback… I took it to a good atv shop.
