I noticed a popping noise on the right front wheel of my Rubicon this weekend. I put it in neutral and turned the engine off and pushed the atv. I sounded like it was right behind the right front wheel and would pop on every revolution. I pulled the tire off and turned the wheel assembly and didn't hear anything. When I put the wheel back on and lower the bike, the popping started again. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.... If it''s a 4x4 I would say your outer CV joint is bad. look at the boot and see if it isn't ripped. or a band missing on it allowing water and mud to get in it.

I agree with Moose. If it's not the CV joint, then it could be a bad wheel bearing. More than likely, the CV joint, though.

Fixed it, the wheel bearing was bad. After changing the bearing, I decided to go ahead and change out the other one as well. Thanks for the help.
