Where can I buy the boot that covers the reverse sensor next to the shifter? I don’t know what to call it or have been able to find it. Mine has basically rotted off. I would like to replace it to be sure of function. Many thanks I have tried search and google already. No luck

Is this Neutral/Reverse switches boot on the wiring harness the one you are asking about?

Sadly its part of the whole wire harness. I havent been able to find one any other way. Its a rubber boot cover that goes over the plug connector. Maybe ebay finding a 05 or newer used wire harness that has it in the picture? You will have to get an 05 or newer one to get both neutral and reverse connectors in one.

Yes that’s the rubber I need! The whole harness gross. What about the thought of liquid tape? Of course making sure it’s clean and layering it on?

Nothing is gunna work as good as the original thing. Which btw the reason you need the whole harness is because it dosnt come off. You would have to cut the loom with the connector and splice it into your harness no matter what besides replacing the whole harness. I saw many harnesses on ebay for around 35-50 dollars with the connector in them. New its near 100 bucks. Liquid tape may work but i wouldnt trust it personally. But its your bike and your choice.
