I bought this quad brand new and most problems i have had i have fixed, this one has me stumped. I have a 05 300ex, jetted carb, stage 3 amr cdi, white bros pipe, kn filter. The problem, I `ll ride for about an hour, no problems and then its starts puttering in high rpms on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear, Lack of power at the end of the gear. Just did oil change and new spark plug, cleaned the filter. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I don't know if it would be the same for your quad but my snowmobile was doing this when its stator was on the way out. Ran like crap on the top end and it only did it when it got hot after riding a bit.

Welcome to the forums. It could also be the ignition coil going bad.
