My rancher is a manual shift 350. The quad shifts fine through the gears but will not go into reverse due to the lever stuck on back of trans. How do I fix this? Thanks or any help.

Did you have the rear cover off the motor? Is the cable seized up or broken? Does the left brake lever pull out the cable like it is supposed to? Check out the photo below... is your selector lever installed right, as shown in the pic?

I didnt take the cover off there is no issue with wire seems like the lever is frozen.

Unhook the cable and take the arm off from the selector shaft. See if there is something (binder twine from a farmer's barn yard? A stick jammed behind the arm?) that got wrapped up or jammed in around the arm & shaft. If its all clear back there but still bound up, you'll have to take the rear cover off and investigate it further.
