Hi all. New to forum but needing to have my Honda running again. It's a 2004 Honda Rancher TRX350FM. Ran perfect until I washed it off one day and never got it inside after. Kind of froze up. Wouldn't run right the next day. Them quit. Seemed to be water in the fuel. Anyway it sat for a month. Now I am able to work on it. Pulled it inside and got it warmed up. Really didn't do much. It ran fine again. Was out hunting and almost back home it just shut off. Assumed it was water in fuel. Good spark. Drained the fuel. Nothing. Pulled the plug and gave it some fuel. It ran for a short bit. Carburetor started to leak. So I gave it a new OEM carb. Still no start. But now no spark. New spark plug and it started and ran for a short bit. Now it suddenly has no neutral light or tail lights. Headlights still work. Will not run. Even tried jumping it. Any suggestions. Or questions. Main vehicle other than snowmachine so I need it running.

Definitely keep the old OEM carb.
Download the service manual and check parts links in my signature block below—Partzilla and Rocky Mountain atv are good sources.
Manual will have troubleshooting charts.
Sounds like you have several electrical faults. You may find a loose connectors or mouse chewed harness
I would get some electrical contact cleaner, stiff little brushes like plumbers flux brushes and permatex dielectric grease. disconnect inspect and clean electrical connectors starting with the following:
Fuses
CDI
No neutral light—gear change switch or gear indicator harness circuit.
if you’re out in the woods you can try to clean the connectors and backshells with soap and water and dry them out; then apply a thin film of permatex dielectric grease to connectors and backshells. They will connect and disconnect much more easily afterwards
