Hello and welcome to the forums!

I use a 1/2" drive air impact gun to zip those off. If yours won't do it... try taking out the cotter pin remains first, then try again. If it still won't budge, borrow a stronger gun from a friend..?

That nut will zip right off with a quality impact gun. You'll probably have to borrow one if yours is a wimp. In the meantime... squirt some air tool oil in your gun and try again. Check that ya got 100+ PSI of air pressure going through a 3/8" hose to your gun.

wellllllllllllllllllll...I will say this..yes, I have ran across axle nuts that would not budge from a 1/2 air impact !!!. ( @ retro..they don't always work..lmao ), soooooooooo OP, if worse comes to worse ?, your gonna have to go old school on this problem !. this means a long drift punch/chisel, one BFH !..LOL. take that punch.chisel, lay it on the nut flange, take your hammer, and smack it like your mad at your ex ( if ya have one ?..lmfao ) do this on all nut flanges, i'll bet my last dollar that nut will break loose !!. ( surely your going counter-clockwise...right ? )..lmfaooo.

1. Make sure you get the whole cotter pin out.

2. Try these in this order:
-PB Blaster on bolt (let sit over night)
-Heat (by way of blow torch) for a little bit and then try the impact gun
-"Home Made" blaster of 1/2 Acetone and 1/2 Transmission Fluid

If you need more ideas- hit me up.

-Ryan

*Edit: Doesn't look that rusty, so you might not have to do all that above... Just get cotter pin out.
