I got a atv from a friend the other day all the stickers are gone. On the frame theres a tag that says 2004 Honda trx 500 fa. Is the 500 the motor size? I think he said it was a foreman. Have not been able to find a serial #. Thanks, James

Yeah, that's a 500 Foreman Rubicon. I don't think they made a regular 500 Foreman until 2005. The Foreman Rubicon is auto and electric shift. The regular 500 Foreman is foot shift or electric shift, but no auto.

The VIN number is located on the front of the frame, behind the bumper.

thanks, i ordered a clymer manuel for it. i need to change all the fluids and change a cvc joint in the front other than that it runs good. is there a good place to get the cvc at? i got it to just to spray weeds with but after the grandkids came last weekend looks like it has many jobs now. James

cv joints..try bikebandit.com..e-bay has them all the time..best bet if you don't like e-bay is bikebandit.com..i guess it depends on how much you want to pay ?..good luck !
