I think he's saying that when he goes into water and the exhaust goes under the quad dies.. if that's the case then you don't have enough back pressure to keep water out.

Is this the stock exhaust on it?

that you you have an electrical connection that is killing things you out when it gets wet!
I would dielectric grease all electrical connections, and make sure there good

as if your at full throttle in water it shouldn;t be a back pressure deal IMO
at idle YES could be, but NOT at full throttle?

Me personally I would just stay out of water that deep and NOT risk motor damage and other wear and tear!
but that's me?
My atv is not a boat to me LOL

But I do get some folks enjoy that stuff, so
sure others will add more that play in that way!
but I would start with electrical connections!

It has a stock exhaust. I will try putting die electric greese on all the connections and see if that helps.
And one other question Any reason why my engine has a slight knocking noise. I change the oil and everything frequently. I have ran it low 2 times below the last mark on the dipstick , due to smokeing top end.

I am not sure this wouldn't be a opportunity to go through and refresh the engine.
I agree, but most people won't go through this process !!, they think a few new parts, a couple oil changes, and it will be good as new ?..yeah..ok..should I sell them that beach front property in az ?..lmaooo.

Yeah. Most people do just think ohh its just a slight knock, maybe an oil change will fit that.lol. If i do it i want to do it the right way by replacing everything. But iv heard that Hotrods bottem ends arent as good as oem but i would like others input toward the subject.

changing the crank to this '' hot rod '' crank, won't give you that much more power or whatever ?!!. it's not worth the money from the very slight gain you may, or may not get ?. I would not waste my money on a crank name like that. go oem from Honda. now, if your going full out ?, then your looking at some big bucks for parts, and there is no guarantee that it will run any better ?, or last any longer ?, YOU CAN'T MAKE A UTILITY ATV INTO A 8 SEC HOT ROD DRAGGSTER !!..LOL.
