This 2003 Recon 250 will idle fine but will not stay running after its put into gear. I jacked the old mule up and it will run like that in gear but it seems like the clutch is stuck. This started to get progressively worse all in one day and now it will not run when i put it in gear. It just lunges forward and stalls.
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums. That sounds like something is wrong with the centrifugal clutch. I don't know if the one-way clutch bearing will do that or not when they go bad, but if you put one in backwards, that's what they do.

sounds like the centrifulgal clutch..or the clutch disk are bad..or out of adjustment real bad..try adjusting the free play in your clutch disk.
