I've become quite a fan of the 350 Ranchers after going through a couple of them.

Parts are cheap, upgrades are easy using stock Honda parts from other bikes, and I've seen some 350 Ranchers with crazy amounts of miles on them.

What are your plans with this one?

Update: i got a new job, so i get paid more, but work more so time is limited, i ordered some parts for her, here is the list: Carb insulator, Carb rebuild kit, and recoil starter assembly. Also ordered a key switch, some led pods, and those little plastic clips that always break. The electric starter is stuck in the block, any idea how to get it out?

Pull the air box and carb since you're rebuilding the carb and replacing the recoil anyway.

Take a small preferably plastic or brass mallet and gently tap the starter backwards. Once you budge it a bit it will come on out.

420 Rancher brakes will bolt on at the ball joints if you want disc brakes up front and can find someone parting one.

You having the cylinder bored oversize or did you get a new cylinder and piston?
Just going with a hone and rings. cylinder checks out as does piston. Rings just look worn out. no ridge at the top or bottom of the cylinder. gonna clean the head up today after school and see how the valves look, they looked clean last night, but the intake valve. has some carbon.

I have a small oil leah under the engine, and decided to clean the frame and paint parts of it and clean/pain the engine, so i pulled the engine. Waiting on piston rings that got lost in the mail, but the company i got them from has GREAT service and is sending me another set.
