got a 2003 rubicon 500. the carb is flooding bad. it is pouring gas into the airbox. any suggestion on what the problem might be or how to fix it.

it does it both ways

Sounds like a stuck float.Take the bowl off the bottom of the carb and spray some good carb cleaner in and around the float make sure it moves freely.

thanks for the advice. i have already tried that. took the bowl of and cleaned it with carb cleaner and cleaned the jets too.

dont know what else it could be. the float seems to move fine.

Does the float feel like it had fluid in it? might be a bad float.

no, i checked the float to make sure it didnt have a hole in it or that is was cracked. it was fine
