I am trying to get my new (used) TRX450 FE back to original shape. One of the brackets that hold the left side rear fender is broken (missing). When I was looking at the parts breakdown, it looks like there are two brackets on each side holding the fender although the larger brackets do not show a part number and those are the ones that are not installed on my quad. If anyone has a 2001 and later FE model can you help me and let me know if there are two brackets on each side or just one coming down from the frame. It looks like if there are two, the bottom bracket may attach to the foot rest and frame down low. I've attached a diagram showing the ones in question that I don't have on my quad. Thanks in advance for your help. Jim

Those bigger brackets only apply to models without floorboards, so all non ES 450 foreman I believe. The smaller bracket mounted higher up are the same from 98 to 04 on all 450 foreman models.
You could look on eBay or check out powersportsnation.com (PSN).

can you not post a pic of the side where you have the brackets ?. from what I know, the es models use complete floor boars running full length between the fenders.

I would tell you that part finche is wrong , ES 450 part bikes I have , have a one piece floor board of plastic that run from the front fender to the rear fender and attach differently than the pic ---------- the pic you have is for a foot shift bike 450 FM ---- I looked at 98-2002 and they only show one style , the FM foot shift style

yeah, that pic he posted shows stays for a manual shift ?, not sure why ?, and if you click on the front fender section, then they show the full floor boards, including the rear stays he's after..but it dont show the part number either ?..hmmm.

The Parts Fiche I was looking at showed the bottom brackets on it. This was for a 2002 TRX450 FE model. My top bracket on the left rear side is broken off and didn't know if the other brackets were missing or they were not supposed to be there.

here's the deal, the fich you posted with the bracket stays are not for a es model, they are for a manual shift model. partzilla, and rocky mountain atv has these showing in their fich..and I don't know why ??. if you look at the front fender for your year/make. you will see floor boards , these floor boards show a different stay at the rear to attach to the frame.
