Is the reverse cable adjusted up to where it pulls the lever on the engine all the way up? If that lever doesn't come up far enough, it won't go into reverse. If that's not the problem, you may have something wrong with the electric shift. I don't know much about the electric shift, but maybe someone else will be able to help you.
2002 TRX350FE, trouble with reverse HELP!!

Yesterday I bought a used 2002 Honda TRX350FE Fourtrax and reverse doesn't work. I want to try and fix it myself but I don't know where to start. I push the reverse selector knob in, I squeeze the rear brake lever and I press the downshift switch and nothing happens... (the reverse light doesn't even light up!)
Any suggestions anyone? What should I look for?
