Hello all, I have a question o. The trx300ex, do i have to drain the oil to replace the stator. I have the manual, went to chapter 11-4 read how to R&I the stator but it didnt mention oil removal.
One more question while itson my head, the frame states the quad is a trx300ex2, what does the 2 mean?

You can lift the one side up on some blocks or jack stand and it will be just fine to leave the oil in it. If you try it level yes the oil will pour out at the bottom for sure. As for the question about the 2 at the end i dont know that answer but someone im sure will be along shortly to clear that up.

Thank you for the response! Im starting to believe maybe the two is for "2" shift levvers. One for reverse and other for 1-5.
