This seem to start because of a dead battery. Backed it in the shed in the spring. Went the other day to start, dead battery. Charged and started. Two days later dead battery. Got new battery, fired it up. Now the es won't shift.
Disassembled shift motor and gears. Cleaned and put new grease in case. All gears good. Shift motor good. Installed new angle sensor. Checked wire from sensor to shift control box. All good. Installed new shift control box. Unplugged shift motor under front fender and hit with power on each side. Shifts both up and down. Tested ohms on carb sensor. 15 ohms?? Is that good? Going to check the shift buttons next. Is there anything else I might be missing? It is not flashing any shift codes on the dash.
Thanks
